Come Chat During The Indie Exchange Mystery/Suspense/Thriller Event

I’m taking a short break from my #WhoKilledDianaFerguson Campaign to join in on a fun blog hop for mystery/suspense/thriller fans. The Indie Exchange is sponsoring the event and invited mystery authors to participate as well as bloggers who enjoy the genre. If you’d like to chime in on why you read mystery books or check out the conversation, look for the #indieexchange hashtag on Twitter or follow @IndieExchange. You’ll discover some new books for your to-read list and connect with like-minded readers and writers.

One of their questions is if you read or write mystery/suspense/thriller books then tell us why you like that genre in 140 characters or less. In a nutshell, I like writing mysteries as I am a bit of a control freak. It gives me a sense of control to create all these puzzle pieces, assemble them, and then have order come out of the chaos. I enjoy reading them for escape. I grew up reading Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden and mysteries still bring me pleasure as an adult. It’s fun trying to figure out whodunnit. I don’t read many thrillers, but I enjoy cozy mysteries and romantic suspense novels.

If you’re a mystery fan, check out this fun event and watch the Indie Exchange for details on a call-in Blog Talk Radio show on March 28.

  1. I also was a fan of Trixie Belden and all that stuff. LOL. It’s why I write in the mystery genre.

  2. Thanks for visiting, Meg! I wanted to be one of Trixie’s Bob Whites of the Glen!
