I had another surprise during my #WhoKilledDiana Ferguson campaign. I just learned that my romantic mystery ebook Twenty-Five Years Ago Today was included on the GalleyCat Barnes & Noble Self-Published Bestseller List for the Week of March 18. It was quite exciting to see my book listed as #6.
Should we dig for the truth when Pandora’s Box is a coffin of buried secrets? Kris Langley has always been obsessed with murder. She blames herself for the violent death of her cousin when they were kids and has let guilt invade every corner of her existence. Now an editorial assistant and obit writer, Kris stumbles across an unsolved murder while compiling “25 Years Ago Today” items from the microfilm. Determined to solve the case and atone for the death of her cousin, Kris immerses herself in the mystery of what happened to Diana Ferguson, a talented artist who expressed herself through haunting paintings of Greek mythology.
My other surprise was that Twenty-Five Years Ago Today hit #5 in the overall Nook store and #30 on the Amazon Kindle Top 100 Paid List over St. Patrick’s Day weekend. I was hoping that my advertising and marketing blitz would succeed, but I never dreamed of seeing those numbers. What a thrill to see some attention for a book that has been out for three years. Thank you to all of the readers, bloggers, authors, and friends who have been helping me to spread the word. I couldn’t have accomplished this without your help. And thank you to GalleyCat for recognizing the work of independent authors and helping readers to discover these writers.
Let’s see how far the book can go!
